As part of an on-going series, the Poudre Heritage Alliance presents monthly educational pub talks at local establishments throughout Northern Colorado. Join us for a Pub Talk on March 5, 2020, 6-7 pm, at High Hops Brewery in Windsor, CO. Guest speakers Todd and Steve Olander, Farmers and Co-Owners of Root Shoot Malting, will join us to talk about their family’s history of farming in Northern Colorado and the future of farmlands on a rapidly developing Front Range. High Hops will have one or two beers on tap brewed with their malts too!
Pub Talk Bonus! Root Shoot has a beautiful short film – “100 Year Lease” – they will be showing at the Pub Talk.
Root Shoot Malting is deeply grounded and invested in Northern Colorado. Todd and Steve Olander, owners of Olander Farms, cultivated Root Shoot Malting to specialize in the highest quality of local grain and craft malt available to the brewing and distilling industries. As 5th generation farmers in Loveland, Colorado, they respect the heritage of Northern Colorado’s agriculture. As partners in the beer industry, they value the high standards of being in one of America’s most esteemed locations for craft beer.
