The Frank State Wildlife Area is located in Windsor, Colorado and allows direct access to the Poudre Trail. The area features cotton wood stands and is a great place for bird watching. It also features the historic B.H. Eaton Ditch and other historic wooden structures.

Directions
The Frank SWA can be accessed to the west or east from the Poudre Trail trailhead located at 32554 CR 13, Windsor, CO. The north side of the river is being actively gravel-mined. The public can still hike and fish on the South side.
