207 Elm Ave, Eaton, CO
Home of governor B.H. Eaton’s son, A.J. Eaton and his bride, Minnie, this fine red brick two-story house was built in 1887-88. The Eaton family’s grounds went on to take up the whole block and featured an orchard and many flowers, shrubs and trees. The house was remodeled in the mid-1960s in “French traditions” style by the Maylott family, and remains decorated this way today.
