Are you an avid cyclist? Or do you enjoy a leisure pedal along the river? Either way, the Biking the Poudre River tour is perfect for you. Spend the day biking from Fort Collins all the way to Greeley – almost. The Poudre River Trail starts on Rist Canyon Road (there is no public parking here) off highway 287 to Colorado State University’s Environmental Learning Center in Fort Collins. The trail starts back up across the I-25 interstate at River Bluffs Open Space and ends at Island Grove Regional Park in Greeley. The paved trail makes for a great half day adventure in the Cache la Poudre River National Heritage Area!
