The Poudre River Trail starts on Rist Canyon Road (there is no public parking here) off highway 287 to Colorado State University’s Environmental Learning Center in Fort Collins. The trail starts back up across the I-25 interstate at River Bluffs Open Space and ends at Island Grove Regional Park in Greeley.
